Tomb of Nur al-Din al-Zanki
قبر نور الدين الزنكي الشهيد
Tomb of Nur al-Din al-Zanki (1118–1174), the just sultan who unified Syria against the Crusaders, patron of schools and hospitals, and mentor of Saladin. His madrasa-tomb has a celebrated muqarnas dome.
