Tomb of Emir Abd al-Qadir al-Jaza'iri

Original burial place of Emir Abd al-Qadir al-Jaza'iri (1808–1883), hero of the Algerian resistance against France, Sufi philosopher, and protector of thousands of Christians in the 1860 Damascus riots. His remains were moved to Algiers in 1966.
